GREENVILLE — The attorney for a local man, charged with allegedly sexually assaulting a Greenville teenager who later was found murdered, is seeking to have her client released from jail.
The still unsolved murder of a Greenville teenager was a top story in the area in 2012. The death of Alicia Moore made national headlines and sparked a debate about how and when to activate the Amber Alert system.
Officers with the Greenville Police Department and other agencies are set to go door-to-door today in the area near where slain high school student Alicia Moore disappeared two weeks ago.
