Listen as we visit with Texas A&M University-Commerce President, Dr. Keith McFarland.
In this month's episode of A&M-Commerce Today, Vicki Holloway speaks with Dr. Keith McFarland about legislation for higher education in Austin, tuition updates, construction around the A&M-Commerce campus, looking back on the great season for men's basketball, and KETR's own 30th Anniversary.
KETR turns 30 years old this year, and invited a few friends to come have cake, celebrate, and even have a chance to win a prize or two.
KETR is proud to have been serving the Northeast Texas region for 30 years now. From it's humble beginnings to becoming a professionally staffed 100,000 watt NPR station, KETR has always kept the public interest in mind. With local, state and national news combined with the highest quality national programming, KETR seeks to give you an alternative on the radio dial.
Bill Powers and Mark Chapman talk about old times and "the good ole' days" of radio.
Now serving as A&M-Commerce Sports Information Director, Bill has been an on-air personality with KETR for the better part of 15 years, and can be heard broadcasting every men's and women's away basketball games. Mark Chapman can be heard every night from 7pm to 11pm hosting The Art of Sound on 88.9 KETR.
Attendees enjoy cake and conversation at KETR's 30th Anniversary reception.
Door prizes were given away as a "Thanks" for everyone's support. KETR also managed to find a few generous souls who pledged their ongoing support for KETR. We couldn't do it without the help of people like you.
