Fats Domino is coming out of his post-Katrina seclusion to help a cause near to his heart -- getting instruments into the hands of the city's young musicians.

The Parent's Journal can be heard every Friday at 4:00pm and Sunday at 7am.

The Parent's Journal with Bobbi Conner is a weekly national radio series for parents, grandparents, and others who care for and about children.

The next two years of UIL districts and classifications will be released today. Many area schools are on the cusp of changing classification and will discover their fate today, while teams across the state will find out who their main rivals will be for the next two seasons.

The UIL announced reclassifications and district alignments for the next two years today.
