Emily Porter, the president of the Bonham Economic Development Corporation and the Bonham Tourism Committee, says Bonham manufacturer Renlita Doors will move into a larger building on Albert Broadfoot Street and will expand its operations.  Renlita builds innovative doors that raise into the ceiling for companies such as Holiday Inn Express.

Bonham Mayor Roy Floyd discusses new housing developments that have been approved in Bonham and Fannin County.  The mayor says they're a sign of economic and population growth.  Also, Bonham and the county expect an influx of workers during the construction of the Lower Bois d' Arc Creek Reservoir and Lake Ralph Hall projects, which are expected to begin within months.

Emily Porter, the president of the Bonham Economic Development board and chairman of the Bonham Tourism Advisory committee, discusses plans for the restoration of the Fannin County Courthouse to its original 19th century appearance.  Voters approved the project last fall.  Emily says the restoration project is generating a lot of business interest in downtown Bonham.

A subterranean enclave for "preppers," people who are preparing for an apocalyptical disaster, is being developed in Fannin County, between Ector and Savoy.  The Trident Lakes project being built by a Dallas developer is estimated to cost $320 million and would have 500 underground luxury residences.  The latest news on the project is the announcement of a golf facility called "

Bonham Mayor Roy Floyd discusses the impending  retirement of City Manager Bill Shipp, also the former Commerce city manager.  Also, the mayor discusses a $150,000 grant from the Texas Department of Transportation for the city of Bonham's Jones Field airport.

Bonham Mayor Roy Floyd says the North Texas Water Authority will begin construction of the Lower Bois D'Arc Creek Reservoir late this year or in early 2016.  The lake will be 16 miles long and eight miles wide, from  near Honey Grove to Lake Bonham.  The lake has been in the development stage for about 30 years, the mayor says.  Also, construction of Ralph Hall Lake near Ladonia is expected to begin in about a year, according to Mayor Floyd.
