Cecil Martin became an escape artist recently after being held in connection to a string of burglaries in Delta County. Early Friday, his magic ran out when he shed his clothes and made for a briar patch.
SULPHUR SPRINGS - Burglary and auto theft suspect Cecil Eldon Martin is still evading police after having escaped custody on Monday during a necessary transport stop.
UPDATE: A suspect in a rash of Delta County burglaries is still at large but the stolen police vehicle Cecil Martin escaped in has been found by Delta County authorities.
