The Delta County Public Library is known for their delicious monthly fundraising Thursday lunches, but now there is more to celebrate as they will be hosting a Christmas Open House. Head Librarian Lydia Toon and her staff have planned a Thursday afternoon event on Dec. 14 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for complimentary refreshments from sweets to coffee and hot cider.

“Story Time at the Library” was a wonderful success for all involved preschoolers.  There was a story, craft time, and refreshments noted Delta County Public Librarian Lydia Toon. The next Story Time will be Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 10:30 a.m.

Between The Sulphurs: Volume II is now available

Just in time for the gift-giving season the second volume of Between the Sulphurs will be available at the Delta County Public Library, First National Bank, Enloe State Bank and at the Cooper Review. It is compiled by Judy Falls and Sylvia Wood, local historians. It is printed and available for purchase.

The Delta County Public Library is seeking donations for recent emergency expenses with a Sunday lunch fundraiser set for June 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Junior Afflatus Club gives to Maroon & Gray Foundation.

The Junior Afflatus Club took partial proceeds of ticket sales from the Tour of Homes conducted in December and donated money back to the community in the form of help for the Maroon & Gray Foundation, Delta County Public Library and the Delta Hope House.
