In Cooper, some soggy bricks have the city fathers puzzled.

On Tuesday, Gov. Greg Abbott elevated those concerns with a letter asking the Texas State Guard to keep an eye on the operation, which some fear is related to plans for martial law.

A manhunt in northern Hopkins County on Wednesday ended in an arrest.

At approximately 3:29 a.m. Wednesday morning a caller at FM 3220 in Ben Franklin reported a mobile home fire with occupants still in the location.

DELTA COUNTY - Update at 6:40 p.m. Trooper Dustin Hunter tells KETR’s Cindy Roller that a Monday afternoon accident along Highway 24 in Delta County involved two vehicles.

COOPER - Spring has sprung, and that means it’s time for the Delta County Fair, BBQ Cook-off and the Jr. Livestock Show.

COOPER - The Delta County Chapter of the American Cancer Society had a good showing during a weekend fundraiser. 

PECAN GAP - According to Delta County Sheriff Gerald Teague last Tuesday, March 20 at approximately 5:44 p.m. a resident of Pecan Gap contacted the Delta County Sheriff’s Office and reported that some blasting caps were found in a shed located on Main Street.

COOPER - The possible merger of their tax appraisal office and new security cameras continue to be issues in Delta County.
