Developer planning townhouses in city

Public hearings and votes are scheduled this week on a proposed zoning change which would allow townhomes to be built on a vacant tract along FM 1570/Jack Finney Boulevard in Greenville.

Greenville city officials are expected to decide this week whether to approve a change in zoning to allow townhomes to be built along a stretch of Jack Finney Boulevard/FM 1570.

Larry Jackson is seeking a change in zoning from the current Single Family 2 (SF-2) to Single Family Attached (SF-A) for the tract in the 7500 block of FM 1570.

Changes Coming to Local Commute


GREENVILLE — There will be a change coming with the new year for motorists driving to and from L-3 Communications Integrated Systems, the Greenville Air Park and other businesses along  Farm Road 1570/Jack Finney Boulevard.
