Dr. LaVelle Hendricks, associate professor of counseling at Texas A&M University-Commerce, recently led a group of students to India, where Dr. Hendricks advised Indian officials on synthetic marijuana, which has been called K-2, among other nicknames.  Dr. Hendricks says K-2 remains extremely dangerous, and laws against selling and possessing the drug have become much stricter in recent years.

Three persons were taken into custody by the Hunt County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division working with the Terrell and Greenville Police Departments in the 5300 block of Highway 34 South around noon Thursday.
