A split Greenville City Council voted Tuesday to approve a non-disclosure agreement with L-3 Communications Integrated Systems.


GREENVILLE - The Greenville City Council has approved a settlement agreement with L-3 Communications as they work to end the lengthy dispute.

GREENVILLE - Hoping that L-3 will do the same, City of Greenville officials Tuesday voted to not take any more action concerning lawsuits filed against them by the county’s largest employer.

GREENVILLE - Dozens of citizens indicated they couldn’t hear the sirens in the wake of Tuesday’s storms, which included four tornado warnings and three confirmed tornadoes in the county.

GREENVILLE - The council, in its last two meetings, has indicated they’re ready to resolve any pending issues between the two sides.

DALLAS - The City of Greenville and L-3 Communications met in a Dallas courtroom Tuesday to argue whether district judge Richard A. Beacom has the authority to issue rulings in their ongoing litigation.

GREENVILLE - For the second time in about a week, a majority vote has been received expressing the council’s desire to settle the lawsuit between the two sides. But the decision was not unanimous. 

GREENVILLE - The Greenville City Council meets Thursday in a follow-up to last week’s decision to offer a settlement proposal to L-3 in an effort to end the two side’s lengthy legal dispute.
