Majors Flying Club

Pud Kearns with Housewarmers of Greenville says the Majors Flying Club of Greenville meets at 11:30 Saturay at the L3 Recreation Hall.  Their meeting topic is "10 Tips for Recovering Bad Landings."  The club is for pilots and people interested in becoming pilots.  Members have access to the club's planes, which are maintained at the Majors Field Airport.

Derek Price discusses the Majors Flying Club, headquartered at Majors Field in Greenville, which offers its members flying lessons and the opportunity to fly the club's two small planes.  Through Friday, January 27, the club has cut the dues in half for student pilots, from $80 per month to $40, and they have waived the initiation fee for those  taking the club's ground school.
