A pile of crossties, off-loading equipment, one of the derailed cars and an 18-wheel transport truck at the site where three cars of a Blackland Railroad train derailed while crossing a bridge in western Franklin County.
The incident occurred on a bridge going over a tributary of Big Creek.
If Mount Vernon voters approve either of two alcohol-sales ballot initiatives on May 11 - and voters in the Piney Woods town of Tatum do the same - that would leave Delta County the last dry county in East Texas.
