Family members and friends of Curtis Wayne “Topper” Gray Sr. gathered Thursday morning to make it clear they intend to seek answers in connection with the investigation into Gray’s death.

“This family loved him and they will seek justice for him and that’s the bottom line,” said Gray’s brother Louis, during a press conference on the steps of the Hunt County Courthouse, organized by the Greenville Branch of the NAACP.

A vigil was conducted Thursday night in front of the residence where Curtis Gray was shot and killed late last month.
