There is a new sound emitting from the North Hopkins campus. On Tuesday students were introduced to musical band instruments. The sixth graders were the first in the school to make the joyful noise.
“I'm excited that we did music aptitude assessments for our sixth graders and we've placed them on flutes, clarinets, trumpets, trombones, baritones and tubas. We also have several percussion instruments that I'll allow the same students to rotate and learn as well,” said Superintendent Dr. Darin Jolly, as the instructor. "It is bandtastic!"
