sirens

Cooper Review

Klondike Volunteer Fire Chief Jerry Wood expects to be testing the new reconditioned emergency siren in Klondike this week prior to installing it on the 60-foot pole. He reports the siren will produce 128 decibels and hopes to better gauge the distance the warning sound will travel.  Chief Wood said he will have to work on various warning sounds of the siren which will rotate 360-degrees along with a regularly set testing day.
