New plant, jobs coming to Greenville

According to a report from the Greenville Herald-Banner, Governor Rick Perry has just announced that a new business will be taking over an empty Greenville plant, and be receiving some financial funding from the Texas government to help close the deal.

The Greenville City Council is scheduled, again, to accept the resignation of City Attorney Brent A. Money. The Council intends to vote on the resignation during Tuesday’s regular session, starting at 6 p.m. in the Municipal Building.
