The two men who escaped from the Hopkins County jail Tuesday morning were captured late Thursday afternoon in Cooper.

The manhunt continues, with no timeline set for the conclusion of the effort to capture the men who escaped Tuesday.

Law enforcement officials from state and local agencies are continuing the search Wednesday for two escaped prisoners in the area around Sulphur Springs.
