Mark Farner, lead singer and lead guitarist of the iconic 1970s rock band Grand Funk Railroad, plays a solo show Saturday night (June 11) at the Texan Theater in downtown Greenville.  In this extended interview, we talk about Farner's days with Grand Funk, his writing of Grand Funk's signature hit, "I'm Your Captain," the legendary 1971 concert at New York's Shea Stadium, his strong Christian faith and his concern over the state of the media culture today.
