Stair climb to honor Krodle, 9/11 victims

Lt. Todd Krodle, a Dallas fire fighter with local ties, will be commemorated Saturday, during a memorial stair climb in downtown Dallas.

A Dallas firefighter with local ties will be among those commemorated Saturday, during a memorial stair climb in downtown Dallas.

Lt. Todd Wesley Krodle died three years ago while battling an apartment fire. His funeral in Greenville days later drew firefighters from all over Texas, and from as far away as North Carolina and New York City.

Deceased Dallas Firefighter With Ties to Region

GREENVILLE – A native of Caddo Mills, Lt. Todd Krodle was a 1988 graduate of Greenville High School and earned a degree from East Texas State University.
