Supporters of Curtis “Topper” Gray plan today to remember the Greenville man who allegedly was shot and killed late last month by a local attorney.

The Greenville Branch of the NAACP has a press conference scheduled this morning, and a vigil is set this evening, in connection with Gray’s July 30 death.

Meanwhile a special prosecutor was sworn-in Wednesday to oversee the case against Royal Lynn Mullins, who has been charged with one count of murder.
